Clunky Boobs

The following is a true story and although some of the details may be a little different than what really happened (my memory is not that good), on the whole, the story is true and I have written it to be as close to what really happened as possible.

At the time of this experience, I was right out of High School, about 19. I was an administrative aid (secretary) to a lawyer here in the mid-west and I was in Phoenix for some training. The door was immediately opened when I rang the bell, the bride smiled at me as she lead us inside the condo. Taking our coats and leading us down the dim hallway to the living room she was practically giddy with excitement. The wedding was in one week and she was telling us just how much she had left to do and how much she needed a night like this to relax.

I wake up very slowly and stretch languidly, enjoying the feeling of the cotton sheets across my skin. I look over at you, you are still fast asleep. It had been a late night last night, with more than a couple of glasses of champagne to celebrate your arrival in Hong Kong after a long flight.

You are lying on your back with one hand on your chest and the other tossed carelessly above your head, in the warmth of my apartment the sheet has been bunched down around your waist.

I gaze at you for a while; it’s been 5 months since out last encounter in London but you haven’t changed, you’re still as sexy as hell. We had exchanged e-mails over this time, but I thought you were joking when you said you were planning a visit. Imagine my surprise when you phoned from Hong Kong airport and asked for directions. “So, Tom, when will we see you next?” my dad asked just before he drove away after helping me move into my dorm my first year of college.

“I don’t know, maybe Thanksgiving,” was my reply.

It was late August and I was excited to start this new phase of my life. I wasn’t the type to go overboard with excitement about my newfound freedom and act stupid, but I definitely wasn’t the type to get home sick and start crying for mommy and daddy after a few nights away. No, I was a pretty levelheaded guy who didn’t have a clue what was in store for me, but figured that thousands of other people have gone away for college in the past and been just fine, so there wasn’t really anything to be worried about, and plenty to be excited about. The woman’s name was Scarlet, which also happened to be the color of her hair. Not that you could tell, from the bandana covering her head, tied neatly behind her. The only substance harder to remove from hair that chewing gum was paint, as far as she was concerned. So far, the cloth on her head had saved her hair, but not her clothes- she was freckled in white and green paint she noticed, kneeing down to fix a silver dollar sized hole in the wall. The jeans and shirt were old and faded anyway.
